The Gaudí Awards, which are the equivalent to the Catalan Oscars are taking place tonight for the 3rd consecutive time. The movie ‘Pa Negre’(Black Bread), which was nominated this year for the Spanish Goya Awards, is tipped to win with no less than 15 nominations followed by ‘Herois’ (Heroes) and ‘Buried’.
After the Pope’s visit last November, the Sagrada Família will be open 4 Saturdays in a row along January. The measure seems to be a success among Barcelonans. The figure is four times the number of visits recorded on a normal Saturday.
Visitors can now see the completed stained glass windows of the legendry Sagrada Familia Temple. Left with only a few indications from Gaudi, the stained glass artist Toni Vila-Grau has spent the last 10 years designing the emblematic works of art.
