TV series festival Serializados returns to theatres and streaming

Filmin subscribers will get to enjoy first episodes of 40 unpublished series exclusively at no extra cost

Television series festival Serielizados Fest returns to Barcelona cinemas this week, while also launching a parallel streaming option on platform Filmin from October 15 to 27.

Subscribers to the platform will be able to enjoy more first episodes of more than 40 series as of yet unpublished, totally exclusively, at no additional cost.

Among the highlights of the series available to watch are 'Secrets', starring 'Game of Thrones' actor Pilou Asbæk, 'After the Party', 'Big Mood' starring with Nicola Coughlan ('Derry Girls') and Lydia West ('Years and Years'), and the documentary film 'Getting LOST', which looks back at the 'Lost' series 20 years later.

Spanish and international guests will make appearances for the festival, including Émilie Tronche, creator of 'Samuel', Carmen Machi, the star of 'Celeste', Mel Eslyn, co-creator and director of 'Penelope', and Daniel Brühl, who stars in 'The Franchise'.

2024 will mark the 11th edition of the Serielizados Fest, with a programme packed with series premieres, exclusive screenings, live podcasts, tributes and meetings with creators, actors and screenwriters.

The festival will have six series competing in the Official International Competition Section, and four –in the recently launched–, Official National Section.

The series that will be part of the official international section are 'Truelove', 'Dates in Real Life', 'Secrets', 'After the Party', 'Kafka', and 'Pressure Point'. 

In the national selection will be 'Yo, adicto', 'Delta', 'Celeste', and 'Dieciocho'. 

In person screenings will take place at the CCCB, Phenomena Cinema, Casa SEAT and Espai Texas. 

Streaming will take place on the platform Filmin.
