The next chapter of the burgeoning rivalry between the Spain and England women's national teams will be played in Barcelona.

The final Women's Nations League group match will be played in RCD Espanyol's Stage Front Stadium on June 3.

Currently, Spain sit on top of the group, two points ahead of England, but the Lionesses managed to get the best of Montse Tomé's side the last time they met in February.

Both teams have grown greatly in stature in recent years to arguably become the two best national sides in the world.

England beat Spain in the knockout round on their way to winning the 2022 European Championships, while one year later Spain defeated England in the World Cup final.

Now, the next installment of the rivalry is almost certain to be decisive, as only the group winners will advance to the Nations League Finals stage.

The game will only be relegated to the status of a formality in the event that Spain beat Belgium and England lose to Portugal days prior. Unless both of those results happen, then the Cornellà clash will decide who goes through.
