Pa Salieu, Mushka, Sega Bodega, and special Nathy Peluso set: Full Sónar lineup revealed

Pa Salieu, Mushka, Alizzz and Sega Bodega are some of the latest acts announced for Sónar 2025, as the full lineup for the Barcelona electronic music festival was revealed on Thursday.

Nathy Peluso, who headlines Sónar by Night on Saturday, will also make a second special appearance in support of Club Grasa, the EP of club remixes that accompanied her album Grasa, with more details to be revealed "very soon."

The final lineup for Sónar 2025 includes 117 live acts, DJ sets and multidisciplinary performances on ten stages across Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night.

More than 50 new acts were announced for the festival on Thursday, including Herbert & Momoko, Dengue Dengue Dengue, Dee Diggs, Ultra Naté, Alva Noto and Fennesz.

Boiler Room and Printworks

The headliners for this year's three "epic" evenings at Sónar by Day were also revealed on Thursday: young Brazilian star Mochakk (Thursday 12), American house DJ and producer Honey Dijon (Friday 13), and British rave revivalist phenomenon Overmono (Saturday 14).

Sónar by Day will also present a series of specially designed co-productions with other European festivals, venues, and cultural entities, such as the Barbican in London.

Sónar by Night will also feature two newly designed stages, specially curated by Sónar together with Boiler Room and Printworks London, the "most iconic club venues of recent years." 

Sónar’s Boiler Room will place the artists at the centre of the dance floor, allowing the audience to move freely around them. The new layout, together with a large vertical screen from Printworks on the SonarLab stage, promises to elevate the Sónar by Night experience "to an even more spectacular level," organizers say.

AI + Creativity at Sónar+D

Under the umbrella of 'AI + Creativity,' Sónar+D will showcase innovative and unconventional creative approaches to artificial intelligence.

New perspectives in both the creation and curation of the creative industries five years from now will be explored in 'Futuring the creative industries.'

'Worlds to come,' will imagine new worlds of the future, from quantum computing and non-binary futurism to terraforming and interstellar travel.

OFFSónar

OFFSónar will bring together some of the most renowned nights, labels and artists in international club culture at Poble Espanyol in Barcelona, ​​such as Solid Grooves, 'X' by Adriatique, elrow, &ME and Adam Port (two of the three members of Keinemusik), Fuse and the Australian band Rüfüs du Sol.

The third edition of the +RAIN Film Festival for films generated with Artificial Intelligence will begin on Tuesday, June 10.

Co-organised by Sónar+D and Pompeu Fabra University, the call for film submissions closes on March 9.

The official inauguration of the 32nd edition of Sónar will be a special concert on Thursday, June 12 at the Palau de la Música Catalana, with works by Steve Reich and Raquel García-Tomás.
