Hundreds of fans turned out at the America's Cup Race Village in Moll de la Fusta to enjoy the racing at the newly opened amenities.

The Race Village was open last week for the Preliminary Regatta and is now once again open every day for the event until the end of October

People came from all over the world to cheer on their team, local or adopted, on the first day of serious racing at the 37th America's Cup in Barcelona.

In sun loungers and deck chairs, people followed the action on three giant screens playing commentary in English, Catalan, and Spanish.

Under a hot sun, plenty of shaded areas are provided by the infrastructure, as fans cooled down with refreshments from the Estrella Damm bars, or soft drinks. Additionally, there are some hydration stations offering free water.

Also at the Race Village are plenty of food stalls, offering pizza, croquetas and bunyols, Mexican dishes, seafood tapas, and more.

As well as the Race Village, fans can also watch the action unfold directly before their eyes from the shoreline of Barcelona, as the races can be seen with the naked eye, or else on giant screens in fan zones located at Barceloneta beach and Bogatell.
