Barcelona (FCB).- The Santiago Bernabéu will also be the venue for a game between the two highest scoring teams in the championship this year, the two with both the most wins and the most points, and both sides still have their eyes on doing the treble. But one of the teams is going to see their impressive stats take a knock on Saturday. Real Madrid and Mourinho have been strong at home, while it has been away from the Camp Nou that Barça and Guardiola have particularly excelled.

Barça unbeaten away

Barça have put together a historic season on the road. Out of 45 possible points, they have collected 41. They have won 13 games and only dropped points in draws at Sevilla and Gijón.

On their travels, Barça have scored 43 goals and conceded just 6. Real Madrid have 34 out of 48 possible away points, having lost twice and drawn four. They have 26 away goals and let in 15, which are far inferior stats to the Catalans’.

Madrid: just 3 points dropped at home

Until recently, Madrid had won every game at home. They had 42 points out of 42 until it all came to an abrupt end with shock home defeat to Manolo Preciado’s Sporting Gijón. That result meant the difference between them and the leaders was stretched to eight points. It was the first time a Mourinho coached side had been beaten at home in his nine seasons in Portugal, England, Italy and now Spain.

But Madrid still have some amazing stats at home. They have scored 46 goals and let in just 7, while at the Camp Nou Barça have gathered 43 points from 14 wins, one draw and one loss. Guardiola’s side have scored 42 goals at home and have conceded just 10.
