FC Barcelona's Spotify Camp Nou stadium has been under construction for over 400 days since its start in June 2023.

A year and a month later, the team says that construction works are on schedule, and the first spectators will be able to enjoy some matches from December 2024. Officials say there will be around 64,000 fans at the time.

One of the big changes in these last months has been the dismantling of the third stand, as it will be fully revamped. This is one of the main differences available when checking a video shared by FC Barcelona.

The work to tear down the third stand concluded around October 2023, and the new supports to hold the new seating area started to appear around April 2024.

FC Barcelona said that despite complaints from neighbors and workers, they have welcomed eight different labor inspections resulting in no sanctions. There has only been one severe work accident during construction.

Barça says the Spotify Camp Nou stadium will be fully functional by August 2026.

Once the stadium is fully completed by the 26-27 season, it will have a capacity of 104,200 seats.

The FC Barcelona museum, the most visited in Catalonia, is expected to reopen during the third quarter of 2025 (July-September). There will be a new underground parking with 3,500 to 4,000 parking spaces.

The works have been available to follow live from a neighbor's window.
