Catalonia's main highway, crossing the territory from north to south, the AP-7, is recording traffic jams of up to 20 kilometers due to several accidents between Santa Perpètua and Papiol heading south on Monday morning.

Authorities registered 11 kilometers during the early hours of Monday heading to Tarragona due to a clash between two cars. While heading to Girona, the fire on a truck blocked two lines and caused four kilometers of congestion.

Later in the morning, another clash between three cars in the area near La Roca del Vallès, caused several blocks heading to Barcelona, and a fourth clash, this one in Sant Cugat del Vallès, saw a truck derail while heading south.

The truck occupied three lines of the road, and the driver was injured, according to the Catalan firefighters.

Around 10:30 in the morning in the AP-7, there were 20 kilometers between Santa Perpètua i el Papiol heading south, and four between Papiol and Sant Cugat heading north.
