The CGT trade union has called off the partial strikes planned for next Monday, as well as those that had been planned for March 24, 28, and April 3.

Yet, it is maintaining the 24-hour stoppages for March 26 and April 1.

The called-off partial strikes were planned for morning, noon, and afternoon slots coinciding with rush hours.

The CGT remains critical of the agreement signed between other trade unions UGT, CCOO, Semaf and SCF and the Catalan government “because it guarantees absolutely nothing.”

In addition, they lamented that a “dirty game” against minority unions continues.

The CGT, Sindicat Ferroviari, and Alternativa Ferroviària are the three unions that did not sign the agreement with the Catalan and Spanish governments with the majority.

Demonstrations were called off late last Sunday due to the agreement, but this did not prevent delays and incidents on Monday.

The unions called several days of strike a few weeks ago against the non-compliance with the agreements of the end of 2023 on the transfer of Rodalies and against the “privatization” of the sector.
