After heavy torrential rains and flash flooding across Catalonia on Tuesday night, four people are still missing, as the authorities continue to search for them. At least two people have already died following the severe conditions.

More than 80 firefighters are searching about 50 kilometers of the Francolí stream, but they have warned that the search could last for more days, due to complications from the accumulation of material at the bottom of the stream, including four cars and one trailer.

The body of one man was found on a beach on Wednesday morning, while another body found was confirmed on Thursday night to be one of the people missing after the flooding.
