Protest held in Barcelona against Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko
Around 100 people assemble in front of cathedral to call for end of "dictatorship"
Around 100 people gathered in the center of Barcelona on Wednesday for the rights and freedoms of Belarusians and against Alexander Lukashenko's regime.
With many waving the historical red and white flag, those assembled expressed their solidarity with protesters in their home country and called for the leader to step down following allegations of a rigged election and a strict crackdown on dissent.
People could be seen carrying signs that read things such as "Belarus is bleeding" as well as caricatures of Lukashenko.
