Police search headquarters of Catalan Football Federation
Proceedings currently being kept secret by authorities
Catalan police are searching the headquarters of the Catalan Football Federation in Barcelona, located on Carrer Sicília, on Tuesday morning.
The proceedings for the raid are being kept secret for now and it has not yet been clarified which case the search is related to.
The workers were no longer able to access their workplaces this morning.
The Catalan High Court has informed that the search has been signed off by the number 2 court of inquiry of Sabadell as part of a case that investigates, among others, the crimes of document forgery, falsehood in a private document, and unfair administration.
According to various media outlets, the case is related to alleged irregularities in the federation's elections.
