One dead and two injured in shooting in Tarragona

One person has died and two more were injured after a shooting took place in Tarragona on Tuesday.

The incident unfolded near the Mossos d'Esquadra police station in the neighborhood of Campclar around noon.

Police have deployed public security agents from the ARRO unit of the neighborhood.

Sources from the Mossos have said that a number of people involved in the events are being held in police custody. The number of those who will be arrested is unknown as of yet.

Authorities believe the incident is under control for the moment, although police have still tightened security in the local area to prevent any further disturbances.
