Heatwave warning across Catalonia as temperatures set to soar

The Meteorological Service of Catalonia has issued a warning for the arrival of an intense three-day heatwave in Catalonia.

From Monday until Wednesday, highs could exceed 40ºC in various parts of inland Catalonia, especially around Ponent, inland Girona, and the counties of central Catalonia.

The counties of Alt Empordà and Baix Empordà could see 40ºC on Monday, while for Tuesday values ​​of 38ºC are expected in many areas near the coast.

Nighttime temperatures will also be very high during these days in many parts of the territory, with minimums that will not fall below 23-26ºC.
