Four arrested in new 'gang rape' case in Manresa
17-year-old victim calls police after alleged attack in a squatter house in the city old quarter
Four men were arrested on Sunday for sexually assaulting a 17 year-old girl in the town of Manresa, in central Catalonia.
Police confirmed the arrests of the four men, who are between 18 and 25 years old.
The alleged attack happened in the early hours, in a squatter house in Manresa's old quarter.
A demonstration to protest against it has been called for Tuesday evening.
The arrests came as another 'gang rape' case in the same city is being tried in Barcelona. In that case, six people are accused of sexually assaulting a 14 year-old girl in 2016.
