Small fire on vending machine at Barcelona airport causes smoke column
No injuries were reported and the airport's operation was unaffected

A small fire on a vending machine at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona El Prat airport caused a smoke column but did not affect any airport operations.
Spain's airport manager, Aena, reported no injuries and that the infrastructure's operations continued as normal.
The vending machine on the airport's T1 terminal was near one of the site's terraces, and firefighters extinguished the small blaze.
Aena reported that the area was restricted to avoid any personal injuries.
Civil protection had activated the Aerocat emergency plan, but it was later deactivated once the fire was extinguished.
