The joint degree in Physics and Mathematics offered by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and the University of Barcelona (UB) are the degrees that require the highest score to enroll in Catalonia.

To enroll in the double degree at UAB, students need 13.438 out of 14, while at UB 13.192 is required.

The degree in both universities has been the most difficult to enroll in for the last decade, with each offering only 40 places.

The scores to access the university are worked out depending on supply and demand.

UB's medical degree has the third highest score needed to enter, and it is also the most popular course for potential students.

Although it offers 200 positions, the score needed to enroll is 12.946, as more than 1500 students requested it as their first option.

Other very popular courses are Business Administration and Management at the UB and Psychology at the same university.

For the second year in a row, the number of students applying for a second degree has increased.
