The 'Barcelona amb Valencia' charity concert has already sold more than 12,000 tickets, raising more than €650,000.

The show, which will take place on November 29 at the Palau Sant Jordi, will feature renowned Catalan artists such as Joan Manuel Serrat, Estopa, Andrea Motis and Judit Neddermann.

All the profits from the concert will go to the victims of the deadly floods that took place in Valencia in October.

The president of TheProject, Tito Ramoneda, explained on Tuesday that there are still 4,000 tickets to be sold and that the goal is to raise €1 million.

Serrat will return to the stage for the first time since announcing his retirement in 2022.

The legendary singer said he was "deeply touched" by the outpouring of solidarity and called for "nonstop" aid for the victims.

Girona replicates initiative

The initiative will be replicated in Girona on December 1 at the Palau de Fires, organized by the Girona City Council and the Fira de Girona.

The concert will be headlined by Lluís Llach, Els Amics de les Arts and Borja Penalba, among 20 other artists.

Other performers include Àngel Daban, Jordi Tonietti, Fredrik Strand and the Black Music Big Band, Joan Amèric, Orquestra Di-Versiones, La Maria, Ja T'ho Diré, Big Black Rhino, Babaflow amb Masta Quba, Boom Boom Fighters & Cookah P and Ovidi 4 with Sergi López.

Tickets will go on sale on November 22 on this website, starting at €5.

All funds raised will go to Valencia, specifically to cultural associations and initiatives affected by the floods.
