Open Cultural Center, an NGO that works with migrants in Barcelona and in northern Greece, has organized a screening of 'The White Helmets', an Oscar-winning 2016 documentary about volunteer search and rescue teams in Syria, on Wednesday.

After the short film, a member of the Nobel Peace Prize-nominated organization that is currently working in the areas affected by the deadly earthquakes in Turkey and Syria will call in to participate in a live discussion on the ongoing relief efforts and how to help.

The documentary will have Spanish and English subtitles and there will also be an interpreter for the talk.

The event will take place from 7 pm to 9 am at the Centre Cívic Convent de Sant Agustí community center located at Carrer del Comerç, 36 near Ciutadella park.
