Barcelona airport trains return to normal service after morning disruptions
Passengers going to or from airport were diverted to use metro
Trains on the R2 north line between El Prat de Llobregat and Barcelona Airport have recovered their normal service around 10 am after disruptions early in the morning.
A points failure on the line took place at 8:05 am on Friday morning, with Adif technicians working to resolve it, as they told the Catalan News Agency (ACN).
Renfe had recommended that travelers going to or from the airport use L9 line of the metro.
It has not been a good week for the Rodalies commuter rail network, with faults causing delays on Monday and Tuesday, too.
