Barcelona airport registers delays and cancellations due to power outage
AENA airport management warns of difficulties with passengers and cabin crew reaching infrastructure

The Josep Tarradellas Barcelona El Prat airport is experiencing numerous delays of over three and a half hours and flight cancellations due to a power outage.
AENA, Spain's airport management, has warned that the electric generators are operating without any problems. However, the issue is due to the difficulties passengers and cabin crews face in reaching the infrastructure.
Enaire highlights that the aerial traffic control continues without any problem with electric generators.
They have informed that all measures to guarantee "full security of operations" have been taken.
Some queues were formed at Barcelona's low-cost airline Vueling, where many passengers saying that they have been receiving emails from the company stating that their flight could be affected and inviting everyone to change it.
Most of the passengers did not want to speak on camera, but there were travelers flying to Ibiza who decided to change their flight. Although, they couldn't as the boarding tickets they got were not from a different flight, but from the cancelled one.
Authorities have also registered cancellations to Rome, Alicante, or Lisbon.
