Every year on International Women's Day thousands of people go on strike and take to the streets of Barcelona and other major cities and towns across Catalonia, with this March 8 promising to be no different.

Barcelona
Catalan government women's day event in which feminism and equality minister Tània Verge, Roma activist Tatiana Font Miguel, theater performer Glòria Ribera Gibal and Iranian activist Nilufar Alafar Ziaee will be interviewed
