Spain's National Police charge at protesters after objects thrown
Fifteen people were arrested by police during the 13th night of anti-amnesty protests outside the Socialists' headquarters in Madrid.
All 15 are men and they have been detained for causing public disorder, according to the Spanish government.
Police protecting the building charged at protesters to break up the rally, after blunt objects had been thrown at officers.
Anti-riot police discharged pepper spray and charged with batons, causing the rally to quickly break up.
The nightly protests, which have contained far-right elements, are in opposition to the amnesty pacts the Socialists have struck with pro-independence parties Esquerra Republicana (ERC) and Junts.
The two Catalan parties have agreed to support Pedro Sánchez's bid for reelection as Spanish prime minister, with an amnesty for individuals involved in the independence push over the last decade one of their key stipulations in return.
