Torra calls summit for dialogue on Catalonia for November 16
President says political parties should engage in "serious and honest conversations about what the country needs"

The Catalan president, Quim Torra, wants to promote dialogue within the country and therefore has summoned all party leaders in Parliament to a summit on November 16.
He is aiming to “go into depth in dialogue” on Catalonia, as he revealed on Wednesday in a plenary session in the Catalan chamber.
He said political forces should engage in “serious and honest conversations about what the country needs.”
This comes after the Parliament passed a motion brought up by the Socialists requesting said meeting.
Its leader, Miquel Iceta, said that “Catalans need this internal debate.”
