‘In Europe, nobody can understand that Spain is not answering the phone’

The leader of the European Free Alliance party Lorela López de Lacalle has criticized Spain’s acting president Pedro Sánchez for refusing to talk with Catalan leader Quim Torra after the sentencing of 9 independence leaders sparked a wave of protests.

"In Europe, nobody can understand that Spain is not answering the phone," said López de Lacalle in an interview with Catalan News. "This is unbelievable elsewhere and we will work to unveil that."
