Germany's Baden-Württemberg Minister-President: 'it would be good to use Catalan in European institutions'
Catalonia and German territory strengthen collaboration on promoting green hydrogen
The Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg in Germany, Winfried Kretschmann, has said that it "would be good" to use Catalan language, "a European language," in European institutions.
Kretschmann met with Catalan president Pere Aragonès on Friday morning in the Catalan government headquarters in Barcelona, and during a press conference, he rejected speaking on the talks on independence between Catalonia and Spain, as it is not his responsibility.
During the meeting, Aragonès and the German leader talked about strengthening the two territories' collaboration on promoting green hydrogen, as in 2022, both cabinets had already passed an agreement in Stuttgart to create a team to develop projects using this renewable energy.
Aragonès highlighted that Catalonia and Baden-Württemberg are "allies," and both add up their efforts to collaborate with green hydrogen. Since the task force started working, the team was able to look for resources in each territory, create new studies, and set up research missions.
