Catalan parliament demands 'rights' and security of Nagorno-Karabakh residents
Joint statement urges for international mission to "check if citizens' rights are guaranteed"
Two weeks after Azerbaijan's military offensive in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Catalan parliament is demanding that Armenians in the region are guaranteed "shared rights" and security.
The house spokespeople's joint statement urges for an international mission to be deployed to the territory to "check if rights are guaranteed" to citizens fleeing the conflict.
The Catalan parliament asked the "international community to prioritize the necessary human aid to guarantee aid and adecuate living conditions to the thousands of refugees," according to a released statement.
