Catalan president Pere Aragonès has launched a new program 'Ask the President' where he will answer citizens' questions.

The Catalan government announced the new format through social media X, formerly Twitter, and emphasized that "the youth will be the focus in the first episode."

The president will face questions from representatives of different groups of people every three months.

Aragonés will begin answering questions on Thursday, September 14, at 7 pm, and the Q&A will be streamed live on the Government's website and their social media channels.

Patricia Plaja, the government spokesperson, mentioned that the idea came from the will to "make the president feel closer to the people, and give a space to answer questions directly."

The trimonthly Q&As are "inspired" by initiatives from other European leaders like the German chancellor.
