Soho House to open Farmhouse in Ibiza next year
New Barcelona Pool House to welcome first members in a 1900s family home from 2025
The international members-only club Soho House announced on Thursday its plans to open Spain’s first Farmhouse next year on the Balearic Island of Ibiza.
In a statement shared with members, which Catalan News obtained, CEO Andrew Carnie confirmed plans to open Soho Farmhouse Ibiza on a working olive grove. The new site will be Soho House’s third location in Spain after Soho House Barcelona and Little Beach House Barcelona.
The club promises it will “bring all the things you love about Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire to members living on or visiting the White Island,” the statement reads.
Members will have access to bedrooms, an outdoor pool, a wellness area with a gym, a yoga deck, treatment rooms, and an organic kitchen garden restaurant and bar.
Ibiza is one of three new Soho House locations set to open in Spain in 2025. The Barcelona Pool House is also scheduled to open next year, located in a 1906 family home on Tibidabo Avenue 23-25, originally designed by architect Josep Masdeu.
The new Barcelona location will feature a gym, pool, and two floors of club space and will be accessible to Every House members, with new memberships available via the company’s website.
Soho House’s expansion also includes locations in Tokyo, Milan, Sydney, South Mumbai, Delhi, and Grasmere House in Upstate New York.
Soho House Madrid
While Barcelona will soon open its third house, Spain's capital, Madrid, will open its first house soon.
Aside from Ibiza, Madrid will be the first hotel outside of Barcelona in Madrid's Chueca neighborhood, bringing together two historical and modern buildings connected by a courtyard.
There will be seven floors of members-only space, including a rooftop pool and a gym.
Applications for membership are not yet open, and the official opening date has yet to be announced.
