Ice cream for dogs: new summery treat for furry companions
Gelateria Badiani's dog gelato contains less lactose
Dogs will now be able to keep cool in the summer heat the same way as humans: with tasty ice cream.
An Italian ice cream parlor with stores in Barcelona, Gelateria Badiani, has created an ice cream suitable for our furry friends that contains 96.65% less lactose than other dog gelatos.
Made of whipped cream, egg yolk, vegetable fibers, water, fructose, whole milk, and powdered milk, it contains a lower quantity of lactose to make it safer and healthier for dogs.
The ice cream is also "human friendly" and can be purchased at Gelateria Badiani's three parlors in Catalonia: Barcelona (Carrer de Rosselló, 232), Sant Cugat (Plaça d’Octavià, 2), and Palamós (Carrer Major, 53).
A small ice cream tub costs €3, while are larger to-go box is €14.
