The Port of Barcelona will host one of the city's most iconic Christmas markets again this year: the 'Nadal al port' festival.

Starting a week earlier than usual, the festival will run from November 29 to January 6 and will feature a variety of attractions, market stalls and vibrant Christmas lights.

The market will be held at the Moll de la Fusta, located by the sea near Barceloneta Beach.

This year, the area will be bathed in blue Christmas lights, designed to mimic the sky and evoke the essence of the sea.

The market promises exciting new attractions for younger visitors, as well as an expanded range of family-friendly activities with an emphasis on sustainability and inclusion.

New attractions include a sled slide and a 40-meter Star Flyer. The eco-friendly skating rink has also been expanded this year, growing from 400 to 550 square feet.

These new offerings join beloved classics such as the 65-meter Ferris wheel, pirate ship, train and vintage carousel.

A highlight of the event is the main light and music show, which transforms the Torre de Jaume I - the iconic cable car tower - into a giant Christmas tree crowned with a glowing star. The show will take place every night from 7 pm to 8 pm.

Another highlight will take place in the sea. The historic ships of the Maritime Museum of Barcelona, the Pailebot Santa Eulàlia and the Far Barcelona, will dock at the Moll de la Fusta. Both will be decorated with festive lights and open to visitors.
