Catalan Sounds on Tour performed in New York's Central Park on Saturday, showcasing music from Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, and Valencia.
Queralt Lahoz, Marala, Lia Kali and DJ Trapella showcased music from Catalonia, Balearic Islands and Valencia in an event organized by the Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage in association with the Institut Ramon Llull, a public consortium that promotes the Catalan language and culture abroad.
The Catalan Sounds on Tour initiative gives Catalan language artists the opportunity to perform internationally.
Previous editions have seen the likes of Mishima, Txarango, Sílvia Pérez-Cruz, La iaia, and Oques Grasses, for example, performing in New York.
