The social movement Coalició Prou Complicitat amb Israel (CPCI) has called for an emergency protest on Monday, May 27 at 7 pm on Barcelona's Passeig de Gràcia boulevard in front of the European Parliament office.

The call for action comes after Israel attacked a refugee camp in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, on Sunday night, killing at least 45 people, according to several media reports.

The attack came after Hamas fired rockets at Tel Aviv, most of which were intercepted and caused no casualties.

"After the recent massacre in Rafah, where thousands of people sought refuge in a "safe" area, we return to the streets to denounce that we will not be complicit in genocide or Israeli barbarism in Palestine," CPCI wrote on X, announcing the protest.

On Friday, the International Court of Justice ruled that Israel must "immediately cease its military offensive in Rafah".

Israel rejected the ruling, saying in a statement that it would continue its military offensive because it is "in accordance with international law."
