The housing crisis has become the most worrying issue for 23% of Catalonia's population, according to the first annual barometer from the Catalan survey agency CEO published on Thursday.

Access to housing had never been considered one of the major concerns for Catalan residents in the barometer's history. The first edition was published in 2004.

Among the other worries across the Catalan society, there is political dissatisfaction with 10% of the answers, and migration also 10%. Concern about relocation has reached its all-time high since 2008.

Housing is the main problem for all political party voters, except for those aligning with Spanish far-right Vox and Catalan far-right Aliança Catalana, which say it is migration. Those supporting the conservative People's Party are more concerned about the lack of safety.
