The new 'Les Nits a Barcelona' music festival at the Jardins de Pedralbes gardens will be headlined by British singer Tom Odell, Colombian group Morat, Spanish singer David Bisbal, and Catalan group 'Els Amics de les Arts,' as was announced on Thursday.

'Les Nits a Barcelona' is the new event organized by music management group Clipper's after winning a public tender beating the previous organizers, who decided to move their festival to Poble Espanyol Park under a new name.

The new Jardins de Pedralbes festival will take place from June 27 to July 26 with 30 different shows including concerts, plays, and dance recitals. The organizers wanted to provide attendees with a "unique" experience in an "innovative" and "eclectic" format, Juli Guiu, the president of Clipper's group and the director of the festival, said.

There will be 10 different concerts in the gardens with around 800 people standing in the audience while the other 20 will have room for 2,400 seated.

"We have not looked back, and we are planning the festival with seven weeks to make it different," Guiu said. "We try to bring to the table all that we think can be a success and work to have our own identity in each of the festivals we already organize," he added, referring to the Cap Roig Festival in Costa Brava or the Occident Summerfest Cerdanya in the Pyrenees.

Accompanying Tom Odell, Morat, and 'Els Amics de les Arts' in the line-up are other international but also national artists, such as Manhattan Transfer, Antonio Orozco, Diego el Cigala, Havasi, Ainhoa Arteta, Molotov, Taburete, Carles Sans, Ara Malikian, Gloria Trevi, God Save The Queen, the De Simba a Kiara Lion King tribute, Lildami, Las Migas, Delafé y las Flores Azules, Buhos, Mariona Escoda, Elefantes, Meritxell Neddermann, Brodas Bros or Sara Roy.

Tickets will go on sale from Friday 21 at midday for around €36.
