Boiler Room coming to Barcelona's Sónar festival 2025

Dance promoter and broadcaster Boiler Room will take part in the 32nd edition of Barcelona's Sónar music festival held between June 12 and 14. 

Sónar and Boiler Room share a "commitment to supporting local scenes and emerging artists," the festival said. Boiler Room will take part in the Sónar by Night section of the event, on June 13 and 14. 

Boiler Room is a hugely influential music broadcaster that began as a webcam attached to a wall. Since 2010, it has aired more than 8,000 performances.¡, many of which have gone viral and catipulated DJs to success.

After welcoming 154,000 visitors last year, Sónar returns at the Fira Montjuïc for Sónar by Day and at the Fira Gran Via for Sónar by Night. 

Its program for the 2025 edition includes famous artists such as Nathy Peluso or Plastikman but also avant-gardists such as Yerai Cortés or Teto Preto as well as a special concert at the Palau de la Música Catalana. 

Visitors with a ticket allowing access to Sónar by Night will be able to get into Boiler Room on the Friday and Saturday nights. 

Compared to Primavera Sound, another major Barcelona festival in which Boiler Room previously participated, Sónar attracts more local and national visitors. Only 30 % of Sónar's audience is international.
