'Please stay homa. Please stay home. Don't want the corona. Please stay home.' It has been almost five years since three flatmates in Barcelona, Klaus Stroink, Guillem Boltó, and Rai Benet delighted the world with their original lockdown-inspired tunes every few days, performed from their Eixample rooftop.

Five years later, on January 25, 2025, Stay Homas bids farewell to their careers with three concerts in Barcelona's Poble Espanyol.

The lockdown sensation has stopped performing after two albums, several EPs, worldwide tours, and a documentary narrating their short but intense story.

Feelings were high during one of the three concerts Stay Homas is performing in Barcelona this weekend. Among the public, many children accompanied by their parents, as the group has delighted young and old, including worldwide superstars such as famed Canadian musician Michael Bublé, who tweeted one of their videos on March 22, 2020: "I don't know who they are, but it put a smile on my face."

A month later, Bublé covered one of Stay Homas' songs: 'Gotta Be Patient.'

The band announced the last concerts back in November 2023, with a video on social media, the place that made them famous during the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Feels like [the start] was yesterday, but it has been some years where we have lived crazy and incredible things as Stay Homas," the band said.

"We have made checks to things that we did not even know that we wanted to do, met a lot of people, a lot of artists, we have laughed, and we have cried," the group continued.

"What we want to say is that music gave us everything but also took away everything in our lives," they added.

This weekend is a "very special" day for the group, as they do not know whether they will return to the stages or if this is the end of Stay Homas.

"What we know for sure is that step by step, we got here," Guillem Boltó told the Catalan News Agency (ACN) on Saturday before the gig.

In fact, paraphrasing one of their biggest hits, the three concerts are part of the 'In The End' tour.

In addition to 'In the End,' Stay Homas also performed hits such as lockdown productions 'Stay Homa' or 'Confineo,' as well as their newest releases, ' Bright Side,' 'La Platja,' or 'La Noria.'
