Stanley Kubrick’s creative genius at Barcelona exhibit
At the CCCB center, the exhibit brings you inside the filmmaker’s works with more than 600 items
The Barcelona Center for Contemporary Culture (CCCB) now brings a new exhibit: one on renowned filmmaker Stanley Kubrick, and his work throughout 1928-1999.
The collection takes visitors on a chronologic path through the director’s professional contributions, with a room dedicated to each of his twelve celebrated films (including ‘2001: A Space Odyssey,’ ‘A Clockwork Orange,’ ‘The Shining,’ ‘Full Metal Jacket,’ and more).
A total of 600 items are on display including footage and films, objects, and material coming from the director’s personal archives. The exhibit was produced by Deutsches Filmmuseum and Kubrick’s archive in London, as well as with the collaboration of the filmmaker’s daughter.
