Robbie Williams open to performing with Estopa at next year's concert
British singer to sing at RCDE Stadium in Cornellà in July
"Fui a la orilla del río, y vi que estabas muy sola," begins the hit song Tu Calorro by Estopa, the Catalan duo born in Cornellà de Llobregat, just outside Barcelona.
This iconic song was recently introduced to British singer Robbie Williams during an interview with Europa FM journalist Eva Soriano. Williams expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "I instantly loved them, I really like them."
"They have a new fan," Williams declared, even wondering aloud, "Would they come and sing with me?"
Williams will perform on July 5, 2025, at the RCDE Stadium (the Espanyol FC stadium) in Cornellà de Llobregat, his only concert in Spain.
During the interview, Soriano played part of Tu Calorro for Williams. Upon learning about Estopa’s reputation as the “good Gallagher brothers” — a playful nod to Oasis’s famously combative siblings — Williams asked, "Do they like each other?"
The former Take That member ended the interview by emphasizing his interest in collaborating with the duo, asking someone off-camera, "Can we make it happen?"
Estopa, one of Spain’s most beloved pop bands, recently participated in a charity concert to support victims of the Valencia floods.
Robbie Williams's concert tickets are available on entradas.com starting at €90.
