Lana Del Rey sent thousands of fans into a frenzy with her show at Primavera Sound on Friday night.

The excitement was palpable hours before the concert. As soon as the doors opened at 5 pm, dozens of people rushed to secure a front-row seat.

Before the show began, about a dozen fans had to be removed from the front row by security, some visibly dizzy and fainting. They were immediately attended to by medical personnel.

Security handed out bottles of water to those in the front rows who needed it, especially those who were exhausted from waiting for hours.

As soon as the American star took the stage, nearly half an hour later than scheduled, the thousands in the main stage of Primavera Sound went into a frenzy.

Accompanied by dancers and a spectacular visual set, Del Rey sang a wide range of newer and iconic songs, such as 'Summertime Sadness.'

"I've seen her eight times. I flew from Chicago to Barcelona just to see her tonight," said Bobby, an avid fan awaiting her arrival from the left side of the front row.

Lana Del Rey is one of the defining voices of international pop in the last decade, known for her unique style and creativity.

She is also one of the most prolific artists, having released nine albums in eleven years.

Despite never having performed at Primavera Sound before, Lana Del Rey graced Barcelona's Palau Sant Jordi in 2018.

Disclosure and The National

Many fans have also been eagerly awaiting Disclosure, the British electronic music duo, who will take the stage at 1.45 pm.

Brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence are presenting their latest album, "Alchemy," their first release since the conclusion of their major-label contract.

The National was also among the top shows of the night. The stalwart American indie band already played on Wednesday at Razzmatazz, and their melancholic tunes graceed Primavera Sound's main stage on Friday night.

Man steals 34 phones on first night

Catalan police Mossos d'Esquadra arrested a man for stealing phones at Primavera Sound on Thursday night.

Police noticed he was acting strangely and decided to stop him. He was caught with 34 phones in his possession.

The Mossos are working to return the phones to their owners.
