'My Baby is a Queen', thoughtful theatre for children
"There is a big difference between how we see it as adults and how children experience it," explains Albert Vilà, co-director of La Petita Malumaluga

After its success at the international theatre festivals Fira de Tarrega and el Grec, ‘La Petita Malumaluga’ theatre company returns to Barcelona with its spectacle My Baby is a Queen.
It’s a spectacle for babies that, according to the company’s co-director Albert Vilà, goes much further than their previous work entitled The Beatles for Babies. Although the show may be an aesthetically-pleasing visual treat, it deals with important issues such as sexuality, disability, origins, and ideas, through music, dance and visuals.
“They are elements that move us in a unique and different way,” explained Vilà. “There is a big difference between how we see it as adults and how children experience it.”
It opens on December 2 and will run until December 10 at the Sala Tallers in Barcelona.
