Michelin-starred chefs Roca brothers open new restaurant honoring mother
Montserrat Fontané restaurant in Sant Julià de Ramis to focus on Catalan traditional cuisine

The famed Michelin-starred chefs leading the El Celler de Can Roca restaurant, the Roca brothers, have opened a new restaurant honoring their mother.
The Montserrat Fontané restaurant is located on the upper floor of the Sant Julià de Ramis fort, near Girona. It is part of a new installation in the 'Esperit Roca' complex, which already features a hotel, a restaurant, and there are plans to open a distillery and an exhibition hall.
Montserrat Fontané offers Catalan traditional cuisine and "honors" the mother of the three Michelin-awarded brothers.
The restaurant is located on the upper floor as part of this homage, allowing the guests to enjoy the best views. Guests will have the opportunity to see the Gironès county and the two Empordà counties, as the Sant Julià de Ramis fort is situated at the top of the Sants Metges mountain.
The first guests will begin enjoying meals on Sunday. However, all bookings are full until June. The restaurant will only open from Thursday to Sunday.
