Madonna postpones tour due to bacterial infection
Singer has two sold-out shows scheduled in Barcelona for early November
Madonna's 'Celebration Tour' has been postponed following the singer's hospitalization due to a "serious" bacterial infection.
The singer's manager, Guy Oseary, posted a message on social media where he commented that Madonna's health is "improving" but that she is still under medical care.
Due to the situation, Madonna has been forced to pause her 'Celebration' world tour which had two stops in Barcelona scheduled. The pop star was due to play two sold-out nights at the Palau Sant Jordi on November 1 and 2.
When her tour was announced in January, November 1 was the American singer's only visit to Spain, but due to high demand, she added another date in the Catalan capital.
Oseary explained that the new start date for the Celebration tour will be revealed soon, as well as details of the rescheduled shows.
