Jason Derulo postpones Barcelona concert until April 2
American artist cancels December 6 show at Sant Jordi Club "due to logistical problems"
Jason Derulo has canceled his December 6 concert in Barcelona and rearranged it for April 2, 2024.
A press release from promotors Doctor Music on Friday said: "Jason Derulo has been forced to postpone his concerts in Spain, scheduled for this December, due to logistical problems beyond the control of the organization."
The new tour dates will be April 2, 2024 at the Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona and April 3 at the WiZink Center in Madrid.
Tickets purchased for the postponed concerts will be valid for the new shows and there are still tickets available for the new dates.
The 14-times platinum singer and TikTok sensation has become a big name on the global pop scene in recent years.
Since breaking through with his five-times platinum single 'Whatcha Say' and selling over 200 million records worldwide, the award-winning artist has released hits such as 'Want to Want Me,' 'Lifestyle' feat. Adam Levine, 'Take You Dancing' and the double platinum 'Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat).'
Derulo is one of the most influential creators on TikTok, the fourth most-followed man on the platform and the eleventh biggest account overall.
Early next year, Derulo will also launch his new BBC Three music show, Project Icon. The six-part musical series, created by Derulo and his manager in collaboration with MultiStory Media and ITV America, will feature Derulo, The Voice's Becky Hill, and Derulo's manager Frank Harris as mentors, as well as the BBC host Radio 1 Jordan North as host.
