Opening on May 16, DocsBarcelona is turning 21 years old. The film festival opens on Wednesday and goes until Sunday, May 27. With almost half a hundred works, 41 in total, it features 14 Catalan productions. Examples of this are names like 'Petitet' and 'Eugenio' about the musicians by the same name, 'Time Thieves' reflecting on the monetization of time, and the gripping true crime 'Shootball,' dealing with a harrowing abuse case. These and many more works will be screened in the coming week and a half, both at the CCCB cultural center and the Aribau theaters in Barcelona.
