Disney On Ice: Mickey and Friends is set to enchant audiences at Palau Sant Jordi from Thursday to Sunday, making the final stop of the Spanish tour. The production, featuring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy, plans to welcome all family members through choreographed ice skating.

Though Barcelona is the final stop of the tour, it is not their first time in the city. Luciana Forte, head of marketing Proactive Entertainment explains: ''We have been doing the show here in Spain for 33 years, actually. We keep coming to Spain every year. We are very excited to be back here because it's our home.''

The event will include seven performances in Barcelona.

Characters from Disney stories like Toy Story, Moana, and Frozen will take center stage, accompanied by their most iconic songs and large-scale visual effects. The show brings classic Disney stories to life, but also the more recent stories that Disney has brought out.

''The new surprise of this show this year is 'Encanto.' It's the first time we tell this story in Spain," says Forte. ''This is a moment to enjoy with your family, with your friends and to have good memories.''

Alejandro García, professional ice-skating and presenter of the show, gives an insight into what the experience is like for the skaters: 'We all come from different parts of the world. We are over 56 ice skaters from more than 16 countries in just this show. We all come from different backgrounds, so we all complement each other.''

With past editions drawing over 80,000 spectators in Spain's capital city of Madrid and Barcelona, Disney On Ice is expected to be one of Barcelona's most attended family-friendly events this season. ''The Spanish spectators are very kind and fun. We've had so much fun. People get up and dance and sing along to their favorite songs'' says García.

The production features over 250 costumes, elaborate set pieces, and large-scale props, making it an immersive experience for all ages.
