Dalí Museum in Figueres in latest Black Eyed Peas video clip
'Simply the Best' shows rapper El Alfa and will.i.am dancing outside famous building topped with egg-shaped figures
The Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, northern Catalonia, shows in part of the latest Black Eyed Peas video clip.
The single, 'Simply the Best', also featuring rapper El Alfa and singer Anitta, takes place in several iconic sites across the globe, such as Paris' Arc de Triomphe or the Pyramid of the Sun, in Teotihuacan, Mexico.
Yet, the American band also picked the most famous building in Dalí's hometown for the clip – the museum hosts a crypt below the stage of the theatre where the surrealist genius is buried.
The sections of the video clip showing Figueres feature El Alfa singing and dancing, and also Black Eyed Peas' singer will.i.am.
The video has been watched 17 million times in a single week on Youtube.
'Simply the Best,' which has nothing to do with Tina Turner's 'The Best,' will be the first song of the band's new album, 'Elevation,' which will be released on November 11.
The successful single 'Don't you worry,' featuring artists Shakira and David Guetta apart from Black Eyed Peas, will also be part of the new album.
