Catalan News podcast Filling the Sink available on Catalonia's local media
AMIC local media association to broadcast weekly episodes on all things Catalonia, from politics, to business, culture, and more
Catalan News, the leading English-language media in Catalonia, has signed an agreement with the local media association AMIC to offer the weekly podcast, Filling the Sink, to its members.
The deal will allow over 500 local media outlets in Catalonia and Catalan-speaking territories to publish the 25-minute podcast episodes on all things Catalan on their websites and broadcast them. This agreement follows the ongoing partnership between Catalan News and the Catalan public radio station, Catalunya Ràdio.
Filling the Sink takes its name from the Catalan phrase: 'de mica en mica, s'omple la pica' – little by little, the sink fills up.
Each show features chats, interviews, and features everything from food to football, elections or current affairs, Catalan traditions, globally renowned artists, or even the best bars and restaurants in the world.
The podcast is available every Saturday on all podcast platforms, such as Apple Podcast, Google Podcast, Spotify, and any other app. Catalan News also publishes the episode of each week on its own website.
You don't need to worry if you don't know much about this corner of land nestled between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, we’ve got you covered.
