Barcelona (CNA).- The 2010 edition of the Grec Festival of Barcelona went out with a bang this year with results that the festival’s organisers are calling historic. With a total of 111,157 sold tickets at 65% occupancy, the festival has reached a historic attendance taking into account that the number of tickets was raised by 50%. According to the director of the festival, Ricardo Szwarcer, the success of this year’s festival has a lot to do with their recent efforts to incorporate the local scene into the program as well as take the citizens’ perception into account in order to generate confidence in the festival’s offers.

The least attended spectacles have been the family-oriented ones. In the next edition, France will be the guest coutry. The least attended spectacles have been the family-oriented ones. In the next edition, France will be the guest coutry.
