Barcelona's Beefeater In-Edit Festival of music documentaries celebrates its 10th edition

The 10th edition of the Barcelona International Music Documentary Film Festival will run from October 25th to November 4th this year. To celebrate, the festival will screen the six best films from the last ten years chosen by a public vote in a section named ‘Your 10 Years’. Other initiatives this year include the introduction of the ‘Fan’ ticket which includes extra benefits and the launch of its online platform ‘In-Edit TV’ where it is possible to pay to watch the documentaries online. Alongside this year’s festival is the 3rd edition of the Barcelona International Music Documentary Film Market.

Barcelona (ACN).- The International Music Documentary Film Festival, Beefeater In-Edit, will celebrate its tenth edition in Barcelona from October 25th to November 4th this year. Prior to releasing the festival’s programme, the festival has announced that this year includes a ‘Your 10 Years’ section where they will screen the six best films from the festival’s ten year history, chosen by public vote. The other new feature this year will be the festivals online platform ‘In-Edit TV’, where people throughout Spain can pay to watch documentaries on the Internet. Also the festival introduces the ‘Fan’ ticket with extra benefits and preferential access to various events. Alongside this year’s festival is the 3rd edition of the Barcelona International Music Documentary Film Market.


The ‘Fan’ ticket allows access to public screenings at the Aribau cinemas, from October 26th to November 4th as well as free access to the opening and closing ceremonies. The ticket also includes preferential access to the Aribau’s movie theatre 5, which means less queuing for ticket holders and some starting credit for the festival’s new online ‘In-Edit TV’ service. The initial launch price will run until August 31st with new prices from September 1st and higher prices in the weeks before the start of festival.

Alongside this year’s festival is the 3rd edition of the Barcelona International Music Documentary Film Market. The market that will be active from October 27th to October 30th and serves as an area for professionals. Buyers such as distributors and broadcasters can watch music documentaries and recent productions that are available on the market.
